Description
When we were kids, our only experience of beetroot was in the form of those radioactive-looking crinkle-cut slices of pickled veg our grandparents would lay on as part of a grand tea, usually sandwiched between the prawn vol-au-vents and some mystery pink item that tasted like a fish paste macaroon.
These days, the beetroot is reborn and we can't get enough of it. Raw, sliced wafer thin and drizzled with citrus juice, baked whole with cumin, or diced and fried as part of a Swedish-style pytt i panna - it's the ruby at the heart of our veg patch and we love it.
That's why we think the humble beetroot deserves its own place on the nation's kitchen walls.

This print is unframed.
A4 print on FSC-certified 350gsm matt card. H297 x W210mm. Fits a standard frame with an A4 aperture.
A3 print on FSC-certified 170gsm matt paper will be rolled inside a sturdy postage tube.
